About Brandi Mitchell
She has been key in developing the images of actors, models, singers, individuals, and corporate executives throughout the country for over 15 years. Known for making people look polished and naturally beautiful, her work can be seen in magazines, television, film,and on some of your favorite celebrities, political figures, and radio personalities. Brandi has consulted for large beauty entities such as L'OREAL Paris and Soft Sheen Carson as well as done visual branding for boutique independent studios such as Simmons Shelley Entertainment who have created shows for Bravo, MTV, and BET.
Along with being an accomplished makeup and hair artist, she is also known as an educator and speaker, having trained hundreds across the country in beauty, image, and visual branding. Her vast and diverse experience allows her to have the all around, multi-faceted edge that makes her personal consulting services quite unique and set apart from most image consultants and even makeup schools. Simply put, what she offers to her clients are years of actual hands on experience in the beauty and image branding industry, and a personal and professional way of teaching others to unearth their hidden potential.
Brandi began her fore into the beauty industry while attending Florida A&M University, where at graduation she walked away not only with a degree in Psychology, but also with a blossoming career in Cosmetology. Brandi uses her Psychology training to access the needs and feelings of her clients, which allows her to create signature looks that are authenic and work synergestically with their lifestyle. She is frequently called upon for her expert beauty advice, has been quoted in many publications, and serves as an entertainment correspondent for red carpet events like the BET Awards and Urban Wheel Awards. Not a stranger to television, she can be found demonstrating various beauty techniques to thousands of viewers, has appeared in two Tyler Perry films, Meet the Browns and Madea Goes to Jail, and was most recently named as one of the Who's Who in Black Detroit for her contribution to the professional industry.
Her experience and trained eye for makeup, hair, and visual branding allows her the opportunity to work on a number of projects and give her clients the visual "total package". Her poise and presence continue to make her in high demand for speaking and consulting around the country as well as a favorite in her home base of Roswell, Georgia. She shares her time between consulting clients, speaking, creating beauty arsenals for her clients with her own makeup line Polished Cosmetics, film, tv, print, and live performance jobs, and writing both beauty and relationship books. Her most important job is the nurturing of her family consisting of her sons and husband of more than 12 years.
She enjoys bringing the red carpet look to everyone from the stay- at- home mom to the corporate executive. It is her opinion that everyone should have the opportunity to feel like a star, and look their personal best.
